Originally from Argentina and Canada, Sofia is a Sydney-based creative and the founder of Atlas Outdoor Club. She’s all about blending design, events, and the outdoors to craft experiences that feel a little different — think group hikes and saunas, multi-day bush retreats, or brand activations in unexpected places.

When she’s not hosting or planning her next adventure, you’ll likely find her swimming at Bronte, hiking in the Blue Mountains, or camping along the coast. Sofia splits her time between Australia and overseas escapes to visit family in Argentina, Canada, and Portugal.

get to know Sofia

One reason to get outside?
Because good ideas - and better conversations - happen outdoors.

One thing you never forget to pack for an adventure?
My film camera, I'm usually behind the camera. Slowing down to take a photo helps me soak up the moment, and the excitement of getting film back after an epic trip is pure joy!

One bit of advice you’ll always remember?
Leave things better than you found them - people, places, the planet.

One tip to share with budding outdoorsists?
Start small and go often, and keep it rough on the edges. It’s not about climbing the biggest peak with the most expensive gear - consistency builds connection.

One time you felt out of your comfort zone?
When I was ten, my parents took me and my 3 brothers to Namibia - we got chased by a hippo. Of course, there’s more to that story...

One thing you love to eat outdoors?
Popcorn - always.

One reason there’s no place like home?
Because home is where your people are - and mine are all over the world, so I guess I'm stuck travelling for the rest of my life.
