I've hardly taken these pants off on a 3 week trip to the Indian Himalaya. Not just great for trekking, which they are, but they also make a great lightweight travelling pant. Plenty of pockets including zipped ones for valuables, and fast drying. They are super comfy in conditions from sub zero temperatures (with thermals under) to the heat of the plains when the loose, lightweight design keeps you cool (I just rolled the bottoms up a bit).

I’ve used this pants for over 2 weeks now and I can say they are definitely what I was looking for. I love the belt, really convenient and easy to adjust, and I love the baggy fit that not only looks good but it’s also great for hiking under the sun and it’s hot. I absolutely love the 8 pockets they have for keeping all of my stuff (power bank, wallet, phone, cash, cards, tools, etc). I like that they’re flexible enough to move around comfortably and resistant to branches and bushes when going a little off trail. (Pics of some of the adventures I’ve been to using this pants)

My partner and I both bought these pants before heading overseas and we honestly wore them the most out of everything we packed. We were across all 4 seasons and wore them on many hikes, day to day and even to a festival! We both absolutely love them and still wear them all the time. They are light, quick drying, comfy and we love all the pockets. Even though they aren't advertised as waterproof, we did find them pretty great at keeping us dry! 10/10 recommend.

So I collected an assortment of oral gear for my thru hike of the AAWT.
These pants were the pants for all 23 days on trail.
First the general material is fairly robust and also seem the be indifferent to the blackberry ‘grab’ which is great byproduct. They dry quickly too which is great when you set out the next day after a wet one.
The inbuilt belt is just the best feature ever, and just what you need as you lose weight over the length of the journey.
The down side, well the stitching for the large leg pockets started to unravel for me, I only ever kept the AAWT guide there so it isn’t like I was loading up the pocket with gear or weight, the one line of stitching just couldn’t cope.
Otherwise I was surprised by the pants and how they kept up with me.
I will look to use these for future hikes.

I bought these mainly as a shell for over thermals in winter but found myself wearing them pretty much all year round. Nice light fabric, lots of pockets, and thick and comfy waist elastic. The blue looks great in the flesh too!
