I recently purchased these for a Central Aus trip and they did not dissapoint. I stayed cool in the heat of the sun and a little warm in the early mornings. These pants were easy to walk, climb and even change a tyre in! So glad I got them! P.S. the pockets are fantastic!
Everything resonated with me with your business model/ethics so finally took the plunge and purchased these in both the navy and cream colour. They did not disappoint!! They fit well for my narrow waist/ broader bum, hips and thighs without being clingy. Love the high waist. I am 173cm and typically a size 8-10 in pants and the XS are perfect. I was worried they would be too short but aren’t. Big call to make but they feel to me like the Australian version of Patagonia.
Just finished a 2 week hike and these pants were a great outer layer when layered with merino thermals underneath when the temperature dropped. I also wore them without the thermals and they were super comfortable. The pockets were excellent for carrying your phone or snacks!
Wore these pants for a six day hike in Iceland and they were perfect for it. The multiple pockets are great, fit a lot of stuff and really handy. Very durable and dirt brushes off easily. Only pair of hiking pants I’ve found that don’t leave a gap at the back of the waist. Only gripe is that they’re a little small around the ankle (tapered more than I usually like) so can be hard to pull up past calf if walking through water.
I like the pants. Light but still strong. It would have been nice if you could choose between different leg lengths. I bought a 10, but 8 had been perfect if the legs were just a little bit longer.
I would have preferred a small security pocket with zip inside a frontpocket instead of the leg pockets. You cannot put anything heavy in leg pockets on those wide pants anyway, it gets uncomfortable. (Maybe I’ll change my mind about that when I use them on a hike and fill those pockets with flapjacks)
