My new favourite!!
"Zorali is my new favourite outdoor brand. I have been looking for the perfect backpack for ages and I've finally found it. It's the perfect size for a day hike, holds plenty of gear and very comfy to carry (the waist strap is a nice addition)... and, of course, the colours are great!" - Amanda R.
Great for adventures and daily use.
"I use this backpack almost daily for commuting, errands, day hikes, and motorcycling. The tough nylon, and spacious main compartment make it comfortable to carry. It balances clean, stylish aesthetics with rugged durability. It’s perfect for all-weather, everyday use." - Nathaniel
Best backpack I have ever had
"This is such a clever bag design. I love the laptop pocket on the side, super convenient at the airport. I love the waist strap and how you can take it off so you can still easily use the bag every day. I’ve been using the bag for work and have taken it on a challenging track. It’s so spacious too!!! I also love the design. Obsessed!!" - Laura

Product story

Escapade Backpack: Our old-school rucksack that gets better with age.

Inspired by the old-school rucksack designs of the 80s, the Escapade Backpack has been refined via more testing and ongoing improvements than any other product in the Zorali line.

A multifunctional all-rounder designed to go anywhere

What started as a redesign of our first backpack (the Pioneer Pack), quickly shifted into something much bolder: we wanted a versatile backpack for escapades anywhere. From a stroll in your hometown to trail days in the mountains. A backpack that holds 30 litres in volume, and has 8 pockets, but can still pack down small. One that makes a great carry-on bag for travel, but can also expand to fit a light tent plus gear and equipment due to its versatile roll-top. The Escapade Backpack was born.

Co-designed in collaboration with our customers

The original concept was a bag that distributes weight across your shoulders. Due to community input, in 2024 we added a removeable waistband for days that require a heavier load. We’ve also put a lot of focus on the shoulder straps, designed with plenty of padding and a chest clip to evenly distribute the load. Annnnd, due to feedback from our photography community, we added side straps, which work for tripods, but also for hiking poles or climbing gear. Though we love to dream up new colourways for this two-tone gem, we also love that we can barely keep up with demand for our existing colours. Keep watching this space: given the love we get for the Escapade, and how many we see out there in the world, we can’t wait to keep refining this much-loved backpack for a long time to come.

Excellent backpack and even better customer service
I would give 6 stars if I could!!
I had an Escapade Backpack for almost a year, used it every day for university and it held up great until some of the stitching in the bottom corner came undone, creating a hole in the bottom of the backpack. I emailed the customer service team hoping they could help, expecting I might have to pay a fee to get it repaired. They replied super quickly and sent me a replacement, no questions asked. I didn't even have to mail my damaged backpack to their warehouse to be examined.
They were incredibly helpful - better service than I expected given that I'd had it for almost a year. When they say 'lifetime warranty', they mean it! I highly recommend this brand to anyone who wants a good quality, adjustable backpack for all kinds of activities, from university to hiking out doors. 10/10 :>

Great product!
Pros: It’s a beautiful and well made bag. I got one for my husband but now I’m thinking of getting one for myself. It fits a big laptop easily but also looks good when emptier (which is rare, many backpacks look less nice when empty). Padding provides very good support when bag is heavy - though we will need to see if the padding softens over time. We removed the hip belt for city use but the belt looks sturdy and good.
Cons: The front flap is designed to be a little too short, though in some ways it stops us from overloading that compartment. The buckles are also a little stiff and takes a while to release/ attach, if getting quick access is important for you.
Overall: No regrets on our purchase!

Perfect Travel Bag
I’ve been looking for a travel carry on backpack for ages but did not find anything suitable that I liked. Then my partner bought himself the bag and I fell in love with it so I just had to get one too. It’s perfect! I can fit everything I need for a 2 week holiday. The bag is sturdy and well constructed with great materials. It has great compartments with the zipped front pocket and zipped top compartments for my tech gadgets. The side drink holders are great ( I use one for my portable speaker). The carry straps are strong and the bag is comfortable to carry.
Can’t wait to use it on my next trip to Bali in 3 weeks. So glad I waited to find this perfect travel bag. Extremely happy with the purchase!!!

Love this backpack!
This backpack is the perfect travelling companion for all my carry on items when I’m flying to a hiking destination. Very well thought out in terms of pockets, lots of storage room, strong and comfortable to carry. I use a running vest when I’m hiking and this backpack stores down nice and flat in my suitcase between flights.
