Can I hike in Trailblazer Sandals?

Absolutely. These aren’t just for strolling the farmers market (though you can do that too). With grippy soles, arch support, and durable construction, they’re built to handle everything from rocky trails to creek crossings.

Are the sandals waterproof?

Not technically waterproof—but they're definitely water-friendly. The quick-dry recycled polyester webbing means you can get them wet (think river crossings, beach days, sudden downpours) without soggy aftermath.

Do they have good arch support?

Yes. We designed these with an EVA midsole for cushioning and built-in arch support, so your feet stay happy all day—from trailhead to post-hike pub.

Can I wear them with socks?

You bet. They're sock-friendly for those cooler mornings or alpine hikes. (Bonus: the adjustable straps mean you can dial in a snug fit either way.)

How do I clean them?

Give them a rinse with cold water and mild soap, and let them air dry. Avoid tossing them in the washing machine or leaving them in direct sun for long periods.

Do the straps rub or cause blisters?

Not in our experience—and we’ve worn them everywhere. The straps are made from recycled polyester webbing that softens with wear, and you can adjust them at three points for a custom fit. If you feel any rubbing on first wear, try loosening the straps slightly to let them settle in. No rub, no fuss.

Are they unisex?

Yes! Our sandals are designed for all adventurers. Just pick your usual size and adjust the straps to fit your feet.

How much do they weigh?

Just 510 grams per pair. Light enough to throw in your pack, forget they’re there, and thank yourself later.

What are they made from?

The webbing is made from recycled polyester. The outsole is tough thermoplastic rubber, and the midsole is lightweight EVA. 100% vegan construction, all built to last.

When will sold-out sizes or colours be restocked?

With our Trailblazer Sandals we set out to create airy yet heavy-duty footwear with arch support that is up to the rigors of trekking everywhere from coastal paths to mountain trails. Our research, prototyping and testing led us to a 3-strap design that strikes the balance of stability, traction, cushioning and breathability. To properly test the Trailblazer Sandal’s suitability in rugged terrains, we broke them in on the steep rocky trails of Mount Amos in Tasmania’s Freycinet National Park. At the height of summer. Supportive, stable, grippy and breezy, on hot days and even the toughest stretches, the sandals aced that first assignment. As they continue to evolve over the years, we still get our kicks seeing them on feet on trails, around town, at airports and on our travels.
