I used this for a weekend getaway and i have to pack for both my son and me. It was perfect! I could carry the heavy bag so easily with the waist and chest strap and the outside pocket can fit my 1L Camelbak bottle. The top and bottom pockets were useful for small items like my charger and eye drops. And it looks so cute on top of everything!
Very happy so far with my Escapade backpack. Very well made and super versatile. I use it as my work bag, hike bag, can strap my yoga matt to it for class plus I use it for my shopping bag for when I hit the local farmers market. Can store an abundance of veges in there!
This is the perfect backpack for everyday use and commuting. You can also use this backpack on the weekends for a short or medium hike and the new additions of the water bladder access hole and tube holder are perfect. I love that when the zips are undone and I need to fit my hand in and there's stuff in the pockets already that I actually have a reasonable amount of room to move unlike my previous backpack, also the side load access for my laptop is a feature that I didn't know I needed until I started using it it's the best option.
A lot of my less durable backpacks that I've used for commuting have damaged quickly as I often jog or run with a fairly loaded backpack, I believe this backpack will last much longer it looks durable and doesn't bounce around when I jog.
