Bought this as a gift and he has worn it hiking in the cold, the rain, the wind and even the desert. Such a great looking jacket that all the features.
I was tossing up between this rain jacket and the Patagonia Torrentshell which was for the same price, and I made the right decision! I bought it one size up so I could fit as many layers I can (since it is quite thin like a windbreaker), including a big puffer although it gets snug.
Kept me nice and dry (interesting note the water seems to absorb into the jacket, I expected it to bead and repel but still works fine). The little adjustable details are great, only thing I wish would be more pockets!
Of course pairs well with the venture pants too
Bought this primarily as a hiking jacket and it's been fantastic - super breathable and has kept me dry through a few downpours.
I think the jacket runs a bit bigger from the online sizing? But still fits well.
I already wrote a review but I’m back for seconds because I’m that pleased with this jacket. It’s well design and well built. Recently I wore it out in the pouring rain for a solid 2 hours straight and it kept me perfectly dry. Worth every penny.
