When the trail pace quickens, and on warm-weather hikes, our Trailblazer Sandals are a grippy, supportive, ultra-breathable alternative to bulky boots or shoes.

No slip, all-terrain sandals — no sweat

Sick of stuffy hiking shoes on warm-weather adventures? So were we. With our Trailblazer Sandals we set out to create airy yet heavy-duty footwear with arch support that is up to the rigors of trekking everywhere from coastal paths to mountain trails. Our research, prototyping and testing led us to a 3-strap design that strikes the balance of stability, traction, cushioning and breathability. After years of use and refinement, these versatile, adjustable sandals have evolved to take us further than we ever expected.

A warm-weather treat for adventurous feet

To properly test the Trailblazer Sandal’s suitability in rugged terrains, we broke them in on the steep rocky trails of Mount Amos in Tasmania’s Freycinet National Park. At the height of summer. Supportive, stable, grippy and breezy, on hot days and even the toughest stretches, the sandals aced that first assignment. As they continue to evolve over the years, we still get our kicks seeing them on feet on trails, around town, at airports and on our travels. And we loved meeting a customer who’d recently completed a year-long global journey, with Trailblazer Sandals the only footwear they packed.

Big toe blisters
From a plus sized wide foot girlie that struggles to find comfortable shoes: I traveled for a week in these, including a trip to the zoo, park, 20k steps a day around a city and up and down hills. The sole is very comfortable and didn’t heat up on hot concrete, it was thick enough to walk over sharp rocks and gravel without looking bulky. The ankle strap is perfect and supportive. The adjustability of the straps are very good for wide feet people. The only issues I had were
1) the toe strap rubbed the skin off the top of my big toe, however the adjustability allowed me to loosen the strap to make it more comfortable
2) on hot days my feet would sweat and there was a slight squeak when I walked, not as bad as when I wear thongs though.
I suggest making the ankle strap super secure and loosening the toe strap to avoid blisters. Overall, I would not have lasted as long as I did each day without these sandals. I Highly recommend these sandals, especially for the plus sized wide feet people interested in these!!

Fabulous sandals
Love these sandals. Bought sage green which is true to the advertising. I had read a few reviews that said the sizing was large. I usually take 40 but bought 39 and they are a perfect fit. Love the comfort and style, would buy again.

Perfect fit
I received my new Trailblazer Sandals in my usual size (37) and they are a perfect fit. It's always a concern buying online if the product is true to size. They are very comfortable and love the adjustment. Looking forward to taking them on my adventures in Australia and overseas.
