Holli is an outdoor educator born and raised in South Australia, and has recently moved to the Northern Beaches of Sydney, NSW. Growing up caravanning around Australia, surfing, hiking and exploring, a deep connection with nature and adventure has always been a big part of her life!  Holli is passionate about sharing the beauty of the outdoors with as many people as she can!

One reason to get outside?

There is nothing quite like some fresh air in your lungs and vitamin D on your skin! You always feel better outdoors! 


What is one thing you never forget to pack for an adventure, and why?

My journal! I love to record my adventures, experiences and sketch my views and surroundings! 


One tip to share with budding outdoorsists?

You don’t need the most expensive gear to have a good time! Get out there with what you’ve got! (within reason - safety first!) 


One time you felt out of your comfort zone?

I hiked 231km along the Larapinta trail alone… despite being a hiking instructor, this was actually really uncomfortable for me! I was physically capable, and had all of the skills and experience to achieve this hike, but being alone for 15 days, that was tough, and taught me a whole lot more about myself than I could have ever expected! 


One thing you love to eat outdoors?

Beef jerky or a peanut butter wrap with fried shallots (don't say I didn’t warn you!)
