Why We Made the Overland Pant
A stretch technical pant has been top of your wishlist for years. Overland is it, built for the days you're covering ground: scrambling, riding, hiking it hard, or a long day on your feet with a pack on.
Built to move
The fabric is a 100% recycled polyester with stretch woven in. It is abrasion resistant, it blocks wind and still breathes, and a PFC-free water-resistant finish sheds dew and light rain. At around 360 grams a pair it is light on the leg, which is what lets a technical pant be one you wear all day.
Tested before it shipped
We wore the prototypes through the Victorian High Country and in British Columbia, in heat, wind, rain and a couple of proper cold snaps, and changed the fit until it stopped coming back with notes.

The details
Eight pockets
Two of them are slim zip-close cargo pockets that sit flat along the thigh, so a map, snacks and a headtorch don't show.
Built-in belt
Enclosed, with a low-profile metal hook adjuster. Nothing to leave at camp.
Ankle cinches
Pull them in for wet grass, mud or the bike. Let them out for the walk back to town.
Two fits, patterned separately
Men's and women's cuts, not one resized. Straight leg over boots, runners or sandals. The women's is mid rise.
