I got this shell jacket for my Manaslu Circuit trek in Nepal in April 2025. Kept me dry in rain and snow, and broke the freezing cold winds up at the Larke Pass. Was also tossing up between the Patagonia Torrentshell and this, and I'm quite satisfied with the choice I've made. It's stylish, offered at a great price point, and gets the job done.

I was tossing up between this rain jacket and the Patagonia Torrentshell which was for the same price, and I made the right decision! I bought it one size up so I could fit as many layers I can (since it is quite thin like a windbreaker), including a big puffer although it gets snug.
Kept me nice and dry (interesting note the water seems to absorb into the jacket, I expected it to bead and repel but still works fine). The little adjustable details are great, only thing I wish would be more pockets!
Of course pairs well with the venture pants too
