Based in Bright, Victoria, I’m an adventurer to the core — from highlining above valleys to trail running through alpine ridgelines. Nature is where I feel most alive, and I’m always chasing that post-hike reset in a freezing cold stream. I’ve put Zorali Merino through just about everything, and here’s why it’s earned a permanent spot in my kit:

#1: 100% Aussie Merino = All Season Comfort
It keeps me warm on early alpine starts, cool when I’m moving, and comfy no matter the season. Plus, it’s 100% Australian Merino — natural, breathable, and better for the planet.

#2: No Sweat, No Stink
Whether I’m trail running, hiking or scrambling, this Merino keeps me dry and odour-free. It breathes when I’m working hard and keeps up when the weather turns.

#3: Packs Light, Warms Big
This Merino hits the sweet spot — super light, rolls tiny, but keeps me warm when temps drop. It’s the kind of layer you forget you packed… until you’re glad you did.
#4: Wrapped in Nature
There’s something different about wearing 100% natural fibres out in the wild. Feels better on your skin — and better for the planet too. I’ll take that over synthetics any day.

#5: So Comfy You’ll Forget You’re Wearing It
Base layer, sleep-under-the-stars shirt, backup tee — this thing does it all. Half the time I forget I’ve got it on, which is probably why I keep reaching for it first.

One reason to get outside?
To get a clear mind and a fresh perspective, always feel better once you've gone outside
One thing you never forget to pack for an adventure (and why)?
Gas! After meeting someone and deciding to go up Mount Bogong we sorted our gear together and let her know I had her covered for cooking and that she could leave hers at home. After a big day hiking uphill, we made it to the hut ready to tuck into soup and dinner to warm ourselves back up only to find I had my jetboil but no gas...
One tip to share with budding outdoorsists?
Just keep getting amongst it! I found it can be daunting doing things for the first time, meeting people who you haven't met, and trying what you don't yet know you're capable of doing but that's where not only the growth comes but also the community and where through conversations new ideas and the people that feed your stoke to do what you dream of doing.
One time you felt out of your comfort zone?
I've learnt to love being outside my comfort zone and one of the things that pushes me out of my comfort zone is highlining and learning to walk alongside the fear I feel while on a line that is so far above ground.
One thing you love to eat outdoors?
There's so many things but one thing I love tucking into after a big day out is pesto pasta with olives and sundried tomatoes and mushrooms
One reason there’s no place like home?
Because there's nothing like getting to know all the hidden gems, winding trails and secret spots in your own backyard.
