I have been looking at a tent for my motorbike trips as my other tent was long in the tooth. I chose the ZORALI for several reasons, space, Hight, 2
Vestibule areas. but most of all a little battler who the big boys tried to take down, also ethically way of thinking.
Dealing with the ZORALI customer service was great and answered all my questions.
The pros! The price was reasonably good for the tent. Comes with a ground sheet, Sweet. Easy to set up and pull down. very spacious inside and the internal height was what I was looking for in a tent. That came in handy on the weekend when it was raining and made my packing up my gear inside the tent a breeze and getting changed into my ridding gear. Plenty of internal pockets. 2 very large doors on opposite sides. I'm 180cm tall and I had plenty of room. I easily fitted my Exped Synmat 7LW (great matt) at 197x65cm and I had room either side of the matt. I am using it solo though.
The ventilation is very good with 4 external vents and 2 large doors. The inner tent has a fair percentage of mesh which might be a bit fresh in colder months. build quality seems to be good so far.
The Cons! The pegs though good they had no ropes attached to assist in removing them so I put them on. (shown in photo rope from Alton another great Australian company) That was the major issue.
I would like to see in the future Version 2.0 the straps that tie the doors up be elastic cord to be that bit easier. There is one hook inside the tent it would be nice to have 2 more hooks at the 3 point connector of the poles to put a rope for your smalls. Last would be good to have re-enforced pockets on the top sheet of the tent where the 2 cross poles could sit in to position the outer tent. but nitpicking.
I am looking forward to using this more and more as it is a nice tent.
Cheers, Keith
