The Journey of Trust

This time last year we had no idea what the future held. There was a whole lot of unknown and a lot of big questions we were yet to explore. I was coming out of a 3 year legal journey against a crazy big company over Monsta Surf… and I was still walking through a 2 year battle with adrenal fatigue. We were newly married, had no savings and a whole lot of business debt as a result of having to wind up Monsta.

We had so many reasons to give up on our dreams. We were deep in the part of the journey were you discover it’s a whole lot harder than you first thought. Where you can’t see the distant shore anymore… when you wonder if all the effort you’re exerting is even moving you forward or making a difference.

But for whatever reason, we had faith to believe that our dreams and purposes were being worked out through all the challenges we were facing. So we held onto that faith. That belief that someone greater had grand plans for us. And that trust is what got us to the other side (and into the world of Zorali).

Maybe you’re reading this and it feels hard to see anything beautiful about the future. Or it’s hard to see the other side of whatever you’re facing. But I promise you, there is always another side.

"Maybe you’re reading this and it feels hard to see anything beautiful about the future. Or it’s hard to see the other side of whatever you’re facing. But I promise you, there is always another side."

And the beautiful thing is that when you get to that other side — by just putting one foot in front of the other — you stop and look back at those moments where it felt like everything was falling a part and you see how God was turning these things into a better story. Reminding you that while life is sometimes hard to understand, it is always worth the journey.

So keep dreaming. Keep believing. Keep trusting. Keep moving. And most importantly, keep shining a better story.
